Severino Deals, Offense Has A Feast

NEW YORK — After a great start from Jordan Montgomery on Tuesday, the Yankees looked to keep the winning streak alive with Luis Severino on the bump. As of late, Sevy has been the Yanks ace. Racking up 17 scoreless innings of work within the last few starts, he kept it up for 6 innings before giving up 2 runs in the 7th. Even with these 2 runs scored, Severino put together a fantastic line of 7 IP, 9 K’s, 3 hits, and only 2 runs (both unearned). As for New York’s offense, they were explosive even with Aaron Judge taking the day off. Bringing in 9 runs with RBI’s from C. Frazier (2), Sanchez, Holliday, Gregorius (2), Headley, T. Frazier, and Torreyes. Didi Gregorius, the man who is 14 for his last 25, had another home run last night. Giving him a .307 batting average and his fourth homer in the last 3 games. It was an all around great game for the Bronx Bombers. Getting another win streak started, a solid outing by Sevy, and an offensive barrage, things in New York are going smooth.
